Steroid Injections
Autoimmune disorders, such as rheumatoid arthritis and joint conditions like tendonitis are not that common, but they can both be treated with steroid injections. Even joint and muscle conditions causes inflammation, which makes the steroids to reduce. As these steroids are available in various ways it is often considered the best treatment.
Steroids
The steroids that get inn these injections are known as corticosteroids. They are different from anabolic steroids which help to build muscles. Corticosteroids are actually man made versions of cortisol, which is a hormone that is made by the adrenal glands placed above the kidneys. The hormones help in responding to stress in the body from injury as well as illness and also reduces immune system activity that in turn makes the inflammation easy. Steroid injections are helpful in increasing the natural hormones, which in turn accelerates the anti inflammatory and immune suppressing power.
